Hideout has quickly become one of our best selling seed blends. Hideout provides a unique mix of sorghums, forage beans, winter peas, and a clover designed to thrive in dry cold conditions. When we first started testing this mix we were astonished at how much time deer were spending in the cover and food this provides. Not only is the cover second to none, it provides a protein heavy food source, the deer don't have to leave.

You can add a bedding area where you want it, create forage and bedding destination zones that will provide cover for even the most weary mature deer. Screening has become our go-to and we believe highly in screening fields to break-up a deer's ability to view an entire plot from one area. Screening forces deer to spend more time in your plots, especially buck during the rut.

The peas and beans provide an extremely high protein source early in the season before the heavy frost kills them off. After the beans and peas die off the sorghum will still stand strong as cover, and the highly cold resistant clover will provide some additional food further into the cold season.

Hideout Benefits

  • Very high protein source from late summer through early fall
  • Easily create bedding zones and habitat edges
  • Build screening wherever you want it, sectioning fields to force deer to travel
  • As always, a product of the U.S.A

My favorite stuff

This has become my favorite plot to plant. I have seen more buck come in and out of this stuff than anything I have planted in the past. I really think it has to do with the 3-4' height along with the beans growing up the sorghum. By far the best cover plot on the market, they killed it with this one

This stuff is crazy

I was really worried this stuff wouldn't work out.. man I was wrong!!! I talked to Aaron about my plans and he recommended putting this in the middle of a MCGA clover plot. I wanted bedding and this was the quickest way to get it. Sprayed with the fasstlime first and then planted this and i couldn't believe how well it worked. I had my target buck living in this hideout for most of archery season, just like it says, food and cover all in one.
