PlotIQ ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the PlotIQ mobile application.
Information We Collect
Account Information When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and zip code. This information is used to create and manage your account and personalize your experience.
Food Plot and Soil Data Information you enter about your food plots, plantings, applications, soil tests, and growth logs is stored securely and associated with your account. This data is used solely to provide you with the PlotIQ service.
Photos and Camera PlotIQ requests access to your device camera and photo library to allow you to upload soil test images, plot growth photos, and profile pictures. Photos are stored securely and are only accessible by you unless you choose to share them in the community features. We do not use your photos for any purpose other than providing the PlotIQ service.
Location PlotIQ may request access to your device location to assist with plot mapping and to provide accurate local weather data. Location data is not shared with third parties and is not stored beyond what is necessary to provide the service.
Push Notifications With your permission, PlotIQ may send push notifications for weather alerts, planting reminders, and community activity. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Usage Data We may collect anonymous usage data such as app crashes and feature usage to improve the application. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

Third-Party Services

We do not authorize any third-party provider to use your personal data for their own purposes. Subscription payments are processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play - their respective privacy policies apply to payment processing.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Account credentials are stored using secure device storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@getplotiq.com.
Children's Privacy
PlotIQ is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of PlotIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
